GENERAL GUIDELINES

[1] Lost Cause is a fan-made roleplay that sticks close the idea where the Goteijuusantai and everything operating in or out of Soul Society was destroyed.

[2] Posting in a closed thread, or a private thread, will result in a warning. I do not tolerate it. Threads are designated by one (1) letter in a set of brackets. For example: [o] = open, [c] = closed/private,

= private, and [f] = finished. You can also put one other letter in a set of parentheses inside the brackets. For example:

= private, mature. [o (s)] = open, safe.

[3] Posts and character plots should not have more than three (3) 100x100 images, or one (1) 300x100 image. It makes everything look cluttered and not as neat as the site could ultimately be.

[4] All in character posts must be a good two paragraphs. This is only twelve to sixteen (12-16) sentences with correct grammar and spelling. Remember, posts should be in third person, as it is a standard way to tell a story. However, if you ask nicely I may allow first person posts. HOWEVER, applications should all be in the third person.

[5] Lyrics are allowed in a post, but only three to four (3-4) lines maximum. Credit should go in an OOC place at the end of your post. They should also be italicized and in quotations for they are direct quotes.

[6] This site is rated T for Teen Audiences. To comply with Proboards' Terms of Service, anyone under the age of thirteen will be asked to leave. I just don't want to get in trouble for allowing minors aboard a site that could escalate in violence and language.

[7] Respect all members and staff on the site. Potential members too! To be a nice and friendly environment, everyone should pull their weight and be kind to everyone. It's okay if you're a bit of an anti-social, but a "Hello" every once and a while will not kill you.

In Character

[8] All face claims must be of an anime, and may not be of a Bleach character (even deceased) due to canon accuracy. Characters may have a manga-esque appearance or image due to the fact that some manga does not have an anime to go along with.

[9] Mind the language. We may have children at the age of sixteen (16) on this site. We must keep in mind that not everyone has a foul mouth, and excessive swearing in (and out) of character will result in a warning and a possible expulsion if you shrug off the warning.

[10] Keep in mind that we diverge from the manga and anime at the point where Aizen invades Karakura Town. Do not drop hints from the manga unless in the discussion, and if you MUST include something from a canon in the manga that has happened, please put a *Spoiler Warning* at the beginning of your application, not at the beginning of the section.

[11] Sexual intercourse is not allowed to be publicly shown. However, if you would like for it to be acted out, it may be done over PM.

[12]No godmodding or powerplaying, no Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus are to be admitted. Please be careful, as the staff monitor said things closely.

Other

[13] You are allowed to have an avatar that is 50x50 in the c-box. Please be aware that anything larger is too big and will not work. I recommend using TinyPic because it has small urls.

[14] Please do not pester the staff about being staff. If we need staff, we will PM the most qualified person for the position, or we will hold auditions.

[15] The most important rule of all, is to have fun of course! I know it sounds corny and all, but it's true. How can you not have fun and still be here? You can at least try!
